My family and I were on our way to Ida's home at Kota Masai, Johor. Even though we were there a few times, but we just couldn't remember the exact route to her home. It's always "trial and error" process.
This trip was the worst. We got lost and gave-up! Frusterated, we used the road signs as our guide and drove to Pusat Bandar Pasir Gudang instead. To our surprise, there was a community carnival being held. We noticed a simple white Morris Minor parked at one the booths. It reminded Anum and I that we used to own a similar car in 1986. It's plate number is BN811. We baught it from Pak Murad [a telecom retiree in Benut] for RM1500 only. It was the first car that Anum learned to drive. On her first try, she drove the car to the only "pinang" tree in front of our rented house.
If only we kept the car, it would be nice to have late afternoon drives with the family.
