Iftar @ PWTC

** "Iftar" - an Arabic word that means "breaking of fast". 

 While all the guests busy breaking their fast, a group of  young boys from a local Tahfiz School performed three nasyids. Their performance was interesting.

Not all who attended the "iftar" fasted. The guy sat beside me at the "pegawai pengiring" table was understanding enough. Even though he was not a Muslim, he patiently waited for the Maghrib adzan like everybody else in the hall before having his evening meal.

The lucky selected Sabahan students who attended the "iftar" received RM50 each from the Sabah Chief Minister as "duit raya". As for me and few others "pegawai pengiring", we were given a box of dates and a big thank you.
