Many came to the "open house". Some like En. Rizal and En Haris had to sit on the floor while having their meals.

After a short discussion with family members, we decided to attend a wedding invitation from a good friend at Benut, Pontian. Several factors were taken into consideration; My eldest son will be flying back to Sabah on Sunday, Amirul is also at home, and I am just coming back from a 9 days duty looking after 165 students who took part in the merdeka celebrations.

Anum, Fathiyah, Nurul and I started the journey at 9am. Nurul was the main driver. We arrived at Simpang Renggam tol station by 12.15pm. After a short drive, we arrived at Parit Maridono, Benut. During my younger days, it was called Parit Maradona [the famous Argentine footballer]. The road was dusty at dry season and very slippery during the rainy season.

M E R D E K A ! !

165 students from my campus were selected to perform the human graphic formation for the 55th. Merdeka Celebtration at the National Bukit Jalil Stadium. Pn. Azlin and I were requested to "look after" the students during the 9 days practice and performace sessions.

 Everybody who were at the national stadium could see clearly the white Proton Preeve. It will given to one lucky person who completed the lucky draw card.  

 Morgan, a student from IPG Temenggong Ibrahim Campus was very lucky. He won a 7in. tablet. As he was to travel back to JBahru very early the next morning, he requested my help to go back to Bukit Jalil Stadium to claim his prize. 

 An elderly woman was given medical assistant outside the stadium. She was seen dizzy getting on to the ambulance.
